iFood - Icons

SulSans, the typeface created by Designer Rui Abreu, inspired by capital letters on signs and buildings in Portugal, was chosen to compose the new look of the iFood (Brazilian Delivery App). The app icons was created from the SulSans geometry, thus creating a unique visual language in the app.

“Sul Sans is a geometrically constructed typeface with features observed in capital letters on signs and buildings in Portugal. Taken separately, these features are obviously not exclusively portuguese, they can be seen in Italy and Spain, but they do show up together and consistently, on several signs and buildings in Portugal.
The name Sul (South), hints to a southern european flavour on a typically northern style of typeface.”
