   Working on some Illustrator text Graphic Style for the next Vector Mill Crate and need wanted to get some opinions.

   Just for some background, the new crate has a vintage mid-century modern theme going on. These graphic style are based around old neon signs. The first white "Hotel" text is supposed to be a neon sign with the neon tubes broken out and the second is has the tubes. Do you like the one with the tubes broken out? Did you even know what it was? I can just include both or just the one with the neon tubes?

   I like it but I think the neon tubes need to be brighter, a little more defined. Also the one with them broken out isn't very clear to me. Maybe have some leftovers, some broken tubes?

   Really love the style though. definitely gives the feeling of vintage.

   If you turn your head on its side and go cross eyed you can make combination of both versions of Hotel that looks a bit 3D.
   also (more useful) I think the bottom one with the tube missing from one letter could look good, nice work.

   I agree with Chris, they look a bit 3D (which is nice). I think this is a cool direction! I didn't notice the tubes were broken until you mentioned it. I'd say both with neon tubes.

   Related note: last night I was desperately hoping you had a vintage label crate; stuff like this: http://goo.gl/Us46X - just a thought ;-)
