My daughter Sage was born with hip dysplasia, and has worn a brace for most of her short life. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it sometimes requires surgery, and can cause lifelong problems. Recently though, she has been pronounced fully healed by her doctors. She'll still need to get checked every so often, but the brace worked and no surgery was needed. We couldn't be happier, so we're throwing a party to celebrate, and I'm making these invitations.

We had a scare with that with my daughter as well. Turns out she didn't have the condition, but being a breech baby, they had to check for it. Glad to hear your daughter is healthy.

Congrats! I was born with hip dysplasia, too (and was breech). I wore a brace for 9 mos, though, thankfully, definitely don't remember it. Glad your little girl didn't need surgery! My only lasting reminder is my right leg is just a hair shorter than my left, but it's really only noticeable to me. ;)
