I think you got something here. Just wonder about moving the eye closer to the top of his head. (that is his eye right?) Sorry if I'm seeing it wrong, Sean.

Agree with mike, the eye placement looks a tad off. Looks a little like a tongue hang in out his mouth :p

It looked like a seal to me when I first glanced it. The difference in shape in the hands and feet seems like it should be more similar. Maybe add a little tail? Just a thought. Cool concept though.
