This is truly beautiful, but it looks far too much like Wunderkit to me, even down to the button layout. When I saw it on the Popular page I kind of assumed you were working on Wunderkit.
@Phil Haha! Thanks to you, that icon is going in the trash... forever.
It's pretty apparent that the save icon isn't working and needs to change. Any Suggestions?
@Maxwell, I'm actually surprised you are the only person to say that. I was inspired by the design and wanted to take it a few steps further by reworking the concept, adding my own flavor and getting OCD with the 1px details.

Here's a peek at a mail app concept inspired by Twitter, Sparrow & Wunderkit.

Awesome. Slightly awkward save icon though.

Thanks for pointing that out. That's one thing I told myself to revisit.

Very clean! I'm curious, what's the purpose of the little lights in the corner?

@Maxwell disagree! I can see the inspiration. But this looks way better. 6wunderkinder should hire you!

I dig the "upload to moustache" button.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I appreciate your thoughts.
@Jonathan, The lights act as connectivity indicators. I suppose they could also let you know if you have a new message.

I agree about the save icon with Nathan. I love darker themes and this one hits my sweet spot :). Beautiful details.

I love this style. But the save button looks like it will insert the file into mysterious buttocks, rather than the cloud.
Love the style mate, very tasty.

@Levi: great stuff then, sorry if I sounded rude in my previous comment. No shame in what you're doing here ;)

@Levi How about cutting out the arrow from the cloud shape, and bring it further up.
Hang on, found something like what I am imagining on Google: http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQeyF61cy499tAYCKPpF7ogOPDbIux8vNdpYbbLqe64u_ixiYp3DrHdvSYe

ACTUALLY, I've just realised that the icon I have described is in Dribbble! Look at 'Upload', haha

@Phil I'll give that a try. Something tells me that it will still resemble a butt at that size.
I thought about making a floppy disk icon but I'm afraid it would weight too heavily compared to the others.
