Working on a fun mark for a company.

Yes Sean, it is. You're good!
Ha, well they contracted you, me, sean heisner and some others I think. :)
They contacted me a long time ago, but I didn't think I'd have time to work with them. I managed to finish another project ahead of schedule and still had time for them. By that time, they had already hired someone else but wanted alternative design options. So I guess they have a couple more designs to choose from.
This looks clean, but I was thrown by the lack of a dorsal fin for a second.
I was debating whether or not it needs one. I'm trying to make it as clean as I can.
Ha ha, I even did a dolphin for them too, they shot it down. I did a cat, dolphin, crocodile and four other concepts they shot down. Personally I think they are too stuck on the fact that the mark MUST work at such a teeny, tiny size. Joe is a great guy though.
I think they have no shortage of concepts. This is a case of design by committee.
Exactly! I meant dolphin by the way, not a whale. Yes, that is my other criticism as well, they have a big committee and that is not helping.
They must have a crazy budget to hire both you guys and others. How do you feel about essentially competing and not initially knowing that you were? (Obviously not for the fee but to find the right solution?)
@Richard, I don't feel as if this is a competition at all. It's been interesting to see what others designed and how it differs from mine. At the end, they will choose what concept best fits them, so it's their decision.
Sure, that's a fair point, thanks for your reply.
