Business card comp. The idea here is to duplex two cards, one of them having a "window" die cut and the other having info pressed on one side showing through the window and the mark blind letterpressed on the other side.
Consider engraving the information instead of letterpressing it. For one it looks way more refined, for two it raises the texture (which should play well with the recess) and for three it creates a lesser imprint on the back, something that will be a bigger issue with the letterpress.
Another option is to use single ply, offset-print the info and then blind press the recess area.
I just have this unpleasant feeling what the production cost of your option would be.
Yeah Alex, good feedback. This card, while simple looking, could get a little unruly in terms of budget. The contact info could very well be printed on a digital press, that would save even more money over offset.
Great concept! Though, to argue Alex's thought on engraving, while letterpress might show through to the other side causing it to be slightly raised on the back if you were to engrave it you'd have the opposite problem – engraving would cause an indentation on the back, probably distracting from the blind hit of the icon.
I like your thoughts of digitally printing the contact info to keep cost low. If you did that you could even deboss the logo rather than a blind letterpress hit for an even sharper image.

Looks nice, especially the mark on the back.
