    Nice paper texture and shred.

It looks good, like the textures, however the holes along the top seem a bit small relative to the size of the other elements.

true, the ratio is off but any larger and it starts to come up out of the "background" and compete with the content. I wanted them small enough to disappear into the aesthetic, but large enough that you can still see that they are punched holes.

Maybe the holes are larger but only the bottom half of them are showing under the title bar?

    Weirding me out now :)

@David thanks for the avatar pack!

@Eric still wondering why the holes need to be larger. Pushing the holes under that nav bar breaks concept of a notebook and makes it more loose leaf.

If the holes are meant to be a perforated line, why not have it under the user info, replacing the torn section of the paper?

@Mark, that's an interesting idea. I do like the irregular shape of the ripped paper edge though. I definitely want to try that, thanks for the idea.

It does feel a bit weird that the pages are perforated but someone decided to rip them (at least twice) well below the perforations. Of course, it's a digital UI and doesn't necessarily *have* to make sense … but I think it sticks out. Wonder if you could do something with the perforations below as well, i.e., if the pages were perforated in two spots (fairly common).
