Work in progress. Quia is a seminar/debate covering a number of topics for teenagers to share their views on i.e. socialism, religion, politics, media, etc. The word Quia is Spanish it denotes incredulity, for example; doubt of faith or truth & the arguments that can be submitted to that.
This sounds like a really good project and the lettering style seems perfectly suited to the audience. I particularly love the tail on the 'Q' and the dot on 'i', they both really contribute to the dynamic feel of the whole thing.
I like the idea of the exit stroke on 'a' shooting upwards like that (it also mirrors the 'Q' nicely), but there's something about it that feels a bit unnatural to me at the minute. I'm not sure what it is exactly, maybe its connection to the main stem of the 'a', or its curve (a little flat/static?)
@Claire, I think it's the A in general, currently re-tooling based on a scaled down version of the Q I think that should correct the problem as well as assist greater consistency :)
