A work in progress, especially the top left side. Exploring something a little different with this concept.

Looks great. However, I don't like the green leaf sitting inside the bottom part of the 8. I think you could introduce the leaf to the flick of the 'C' - http://c.ethk.in/DUvL

Sorry for using terribly bad brand/logo/identity terminology, heh!

Hey James thanks for the insight, that might work too. It is for an eco friendly firm but I don't want the mark to look too much like a plant either. I am currently using the counter to differentiate between certain sub brands. I added an attachment.

PS it is the finial ;^)

Nice styling. I like the concept too, but I missed the 8, until I read the title. How about continuing that upper tendril so it overlaps beyond the top of C and completes the form of 8?

David, I like the way this is going. I do think that the top-left portion of the 8 is a tad to thin. I also think that whatever object is going inside the 8 should be bright. I like how the water 8 looks because is brighter, the leaf looks a toned down so it blend just a bit with the line of the 8. I love what you did here and I am just saying thins that I notice right away. I really love this tho :)
