    Experimental painting playing with style and color on a backdrop of black, white, and gray. One of my more enjoyable experiences with digital painting. I wanted the flatness of the hands to match the face. I also limited the color palette on the skin to enable for experimentation with color in other elements.

    I have not had a surge of inspiration in quite awhile so this was a big relief to me. As always with my digital paintings I like to merge a little sense of design with illustration. I honestly believe the three black stripes on her head is one of my top favorite parts of this painting which was probably a left over from Optikal Orakle (http://novureyouth.com/optikal-orakle/).
