This is the header and 3 column design I've been working on now and again for the past couple of weeks. I've had the actual idea to use a VW camper van as a blog header for about a year now, so I'm glad to finally get the ball rolling. My current header is a shot of my hand (oh yes!). I've got a lot of details to iron out, but what do you think?

It works really well.
I don't know if you intend to keep the pink column guides in there, but I actually really like them; it gives a printed feel - it's different anyway.

Haha, yeah, I intended to keep them just to show what Grid System I was using , but now you mention it, maybe there is an element there that could add an edge into the design Cheers :)
