Ahh, very nice. I think the stripes are a bit too sharp (mostly the light counterpart causing very intense contrast). Very nice and bezel-y otherwise.

I think the grey gauge should be on top of the verticals

Good call. Those minor details make all the difference.

What about just simplifying it and have a semi-transparent overlay appear and have the size of the overlay or the A change as you change the text?

Rob that looks great, but I think context gets lost with that approach. It would look really nice though.

Nice. But the 100%-state a bit troublesome. It could be confused as empty. Will the text size be absolute jumps or gradual? Increase the size based on how far apart your fingers move, or flick speed.

If so, showing the size of the A grow and shrink while tracking to the bar graph could work. The min and max sizes could be gray, while the current size is black.

    Fun stuff for sure!

Agreed Jason. Couch and I were discussing that issue earlier. The default setting is for it to be at the second option and it would be absolute jumps. Here is a revised version combining Sebastiaan and Andy's suggestions. I think Andy's suggestion to place the selected state above the verticals along with the fact that it defaults to the second setting should help to clarify functionality to the user.
