Myself and Matt Davenport are working together on this project, Tarsk.
This project was born out of my frustration for over featured task apps. I have stripped it down to the raw essentials, with nothing but the ability to add tasks, delete tasks and order them. No fancy alarms or notifications, just a list.
This is still a WIP and will be developed by Matt for our own amusement, but also for anyone else who wants a simple tasks app.

Don't get me wrong, it looks great as is. You might just want to make the tappable area bigger, so even the user taps outside of the checkbox, it still selects/deselects.

From a developer perspective there is no need to make the actual tick boxes bigger, you can make the hit area much bigger without having to change the image :)
