This is a really wonderful homage to a great film.
Have you ever read the story of that house? Hitchcock tried to hire Frank Lloyd Wright to design a real house for the film but he was too expensive. So this design was purely a set piece that was dismantled after shooting. It was mostly made of false materials that were painted to look real.
