    As I was browsing through my old sketchbook back in high school I came across a drawing of this which I remember turning into a digital piece before but knew I could do much better. I completely reinvented the old painting with this new one.

    I started to move away from line work/line art defining features a little. I really love this painting personally for its simple aesthetic quality in having simple black shapes define form.

    It depicts two soul brothers. They're not conjoined twins or Siamese twins or even brothers at all. The concept of being a soul brother is being linked to another human being that can be so different from you yet the soul-bond may be closer than that of blood.

    The hyperactive skin color was insanely a pleasure to do.
