Lago Epecuen

Currently working remotely in Argentina, I was inspired by a recent road trip to the eerie ghost town of Epecuen. A once popular tourist destination, Epecuen was flooded in 1985 and the evacuated town was never rebuilt. The briny salt water that was once the source for healing spa retreats has since left its mark with everything slowly emerging from the flood covered in a silvery-white layer.

See attached pixels for my mock-ups of a hypothetical tourism website for Lago Epecuen and its present day counterpart presented in “ghost mode” 👻
