Now vectored but having trouble figuring out how to incorporate Durham, NC in the tail. The angle of the tail makes any attempt seem awkward. Any suggestions here?
Also, feedback on the lettering would be appreciated.

The outlines of the counters in the "b" and "c" and between the two words stand out a lot to me. But, I like how dynamic it makes the "y" look.

Absolutely love the 'C-i' next to each other, looks excellent. Really nice 'B' too! As for the text in the tail, the thing I can imagine working best is drawing it at the same angle as that far left diagonal line and having it span the height of the tail (with the letters getting smaller accordingly). That said though, by the time you'd get to 'NC', it might be a bit too small..

Yeah Claire's thought is about all I can think of too. You could really go for thin, condensed, hairline lettering that could probably squeeze everything in before it gets too small.
Love this! I'd say the B is a little out of character with the rest of the letters but this is already turning out great!
