Logo sketches I presented today for a Czech start up called 'Save the Date' which deals with the rental of wedding decorations. The goal is to appeal to a primarily female target audience who are looking for an alternative to traditional local weddings.

I tried to cover a range of variations within the brief, so some are angled more decorative/restrained, elegant/casual, etc. Top left is the chosen direction, with the middle one a very close second.

    Bigger image.

@Nick - You always have such positive comments, thanks very much!
@Ali - Thanks a lot, good to hear from you!
@Colin - Haha thanks, it was one of those great times where your personal favourites match the client's, so initial decision making wasn't too hard.
    @George - Cheers!

@Matt - I'm glad you like them, thank you!
@Inka - Happy to hear that, I think it's definitely the best choice especially considering its planned use in context. Thanks very much!
@Neil - Thank you for the kind words! I hadn't though of that about the 'S-D', that's a really nice point. I like that bit too, but less the overall shape.. Cheers for the feedback!

@fabio - Haha thanks! Now I just have to find another 4 companies with the same name ;)
@Daniel - Thanks a lot, glad you agree!
@Nemanja - Cheers! Yeah it was a bit of tough call between the middle one, but it's a little less practical in application.

WOW, Claire these are all so beautiful. Agree with the top left. But I must say I personally also love the top right, I know its all in one line so not quite as interesting as the other stacked versions, but I really dig the "th" combination and that lower case "d".
Such interesting approaches. So fun to see the early concepts.
    thanks for sharing.
And I'll "save the date" for when you show the final. :D

@ Claire: I try to be positive as much as possible... I hate bad vibes and like to help others be a good designer just as much as they help me to be a better designer. Or at least recognize they are doing a great job! I quote "Don't Be a Dick, Just be Nice, It's that Easy"- Luke Beard. I think it sums it up that you should always be nice. Can't wait to see what you will pick from these fine selection of great typography you have done!

Love it when the client's on the same page...these all turned out great. I was immediately drawn to the top left one as well. The layout, spacing and weight all seems spot on. Can't wait to see how this progresses.

@Mike - Thank you so much for the thoughful comment. I'm really glad you mentioned that top right one, I had a soft spot for it too. It's 'quieter' and more subtle, but I'm always a fan of a nice 'th' combination! I'll be working on the initial vector version soon and will be sure to post it, thanks again!

@Greg - Haha, you're one to talk! Thanks a lot.

@Nick - Absolutely agree and that quote is so well put! Your enthusiasm and positive thinking always really comes across and it's a pleasure to read. Thanks again, much appreciated!

@Kevin - Yea it's so nice when it happens! Thanks very much for your comment and observations. Nice point about the weight - looking at them all together, it makes it seem stronger and stand out more.

@Chris - Happy to hear that one jumps out, thanks very much!

@Gert - Sounds good, thanks for the input!
