Given the time restrictions we had, I had to make a couple of decisions to be able to make the deadline.
Keeping it simple yet clean, a big focus was put on the timeline leading up to the event itself. The whole story of the site's strategy was to document the evolution until the ceremony, so the timeline was a central piece.

love the spotlights effect over the background pattern ;) 44 looks weird though, looks like its not centered with the circle!
