Nice and simple. Not sure about the Unlike and Comment buttons though. They're a bit heavy.

@Meng: thx for the feedback man! Unfortunately the effect on those comment and like buttons are kinda the core of the design, but I'll keep it in mind once it is live, if I feel them too heavy I'll change them!

Thx Anthony. ALL buttons of the app have the same texture on top of them. This texture is same opacity everywhere and transparent, so it can be used everywhere with just one graphic resource :)

The shadow pointing upwards on the background slice where the "add video button resides" confuses me. Nothing else on the layout is as elevated as that background spot and the shadow seems out of place to me.
What about getting rid of that background slice all together and just have the button there? For some reason that background area just really sticks out and bugs me. Maybe it's just the shadow that seems to be pointing in the wrong direction. Since the light source would be at a 90 degree angle from looking at your shadow on the very bottom of the white container of the photo/comments area. Or maybe i'm being picky?

Love the texture on the buttons too, and perhaps I'll reduce the size of those Unlike/Comments buttons too :)
But you are the most appropiate person to decide it because you know the core of the design bettet than us.

This looks amazing! Is there a web version? I'm interested to see how the left-hand navigation (which looks a perfect fit on an iPad screen) would convert to larger displays.
