   Easier than I thought. Figured out what I was doing wrong and realized I could layer multiple marbles at multiple blur levels, creating a pseudo DOF-effect.

   It'll get even more interesting when I start pulling in output from previous sketches and start mixing and matching. This layered blur thing was a big step in that direction.

   These shapes remind me of some of Fiona Rae's work from the late 90's. One of my favourite painters. She works from maquettes created using PS.
