Hi everyone!
I'm excited to share this unique style of chat interface. This presentation shows a chat being exchanged between you and two people, the chat window decreases and the sidebar collapses.
So what's new with this chat you may ask? The bubbles are perfectly wrapped around each message, leaving no dead space inside. My idea of creating this behavior was to get unique visuals on every single message. Also, when writing a bunch of messages in a row, the bubbles will adapt to "puzzle" themselves together and could possibly tone down the feeling of spamming with a lot of separate messages, since that's a writing style of many.
AI, wordings, and timing would determine whether messages are related or not and will then transform together. If you send a couple of photos and you want to add a comment to it, that bubble would then slightly climb onto the photo edge to make it clear which photo you are referring to. The concept is clearly not perfect but I'm eager to keep working on ideas like this to find what could be the next unique chat experience for us.
