I preferred the first version! (http://drbl.in/32720) The green on this seems a bit out of place. Also, the dripping honey feels a bit too bold and messy. The logotype is also a bit flat when compared with the 'grouping' on the first version. http://drbl.in/32720 is also more visually interesting as web layout - it guides your eye through the page a bit better. And the background texture is really nice too. Anyways, just my two penn'orth! Hope it's useful ;-)
Thanks Joshua. The client didn't like the first option, hence the changes. They're looking for something eye-catching, so we'll see what the response to the dripping honey is...
That's food for thought (no pun intended) - thanks for your comments guys. The client's not keen on the green either, so we may go back to the honey-combs.

Rebound
Honey comb pattern/texture
by Regina Casaleggio
I like your design, but maybe it needs a bit more honey goodness. Something like this in the header maybe. Just a thought.

With Regina's texture as the background and a wooden cask of honey dripping from the top it could work...
Sorry Chris - we're really poking our noses in now!! I suppose that's what Dribbble's for though ;-)
