   This is a logo for a company called 'Kittiwake Music' that provides a wide range of musical services from tuition to music therapy.

   Client was keen to go with some sort of stylized bird (from the word Kittiwake) and after some research I found that the musical symbol the fermata is colloquially know as "the bird's eye" so from there I tried a couple of different 'beaks' on the fermata and settled on this one.

   This Shot is from the website I'm currently developing for them.

   I've been playing with these gorgeous paper textures by Jess McCarty in one of my quite recent projects but with this one I knew in advance that the client would be wanting a business card doing too so I couldn't resist the chance to use them again and have some fun trying to find a matching stock and print process.
