What? No Kempston Competition Pro 5000 (admittedly not a console) …

Adding to the mix NES, Master Systerm, Neo Geo, Megadrive, Gamecube

This has sparked my interest. Now really want to launch a blog about the history of video game consoles; focusing on the design & technical aspects.

Reading about the Magnavox Odyssey now and it is fucking fascinating. The early gaming consoles used removable PCBs for cartridges. Cool stuff.

As always, so many things to learn and so little time.

Odyssey, Fairchild Channel F, Atari 2600, Atari 2600 Jr. (?), Intellivision (?), Colecovision, Atari 5200, Famicom, NES, SEGA Master System, Atari 7200, SEGA Megadrive, Turbo Duo, SNES, CD-i, SEGA Genesis, Atari Jaguar, 3DO (?), Neo Geo CD, SEGA Saturn, PSone, N64, Dreamcast, PS2, XBOX, XBOX (controller S), Gamecube, xbox 360, PS3, Wii.

The ones with "(?)" at the end are the ones I'm not 100% sure about.

@Andrew-David: Wow, pretty close! You missed the Odyssey2 and Atari 7800 (not 7200). Otherwise, boom :)
