Floppy disk and my first laptop

It was around 16 or 17 years ago when I had my first laptop as a college student. My old laptop was bulky, super heavy and needs a huge battery which has a really short lifespan.

BUT, I could use 3.5" floppy disk as well as CD-ROM, plus MS-DOS. (It was Windows 98 probably, but we could access black screen somehow).

Today's laptops are slim and can't afford more than 2 USB ports. No built in CD (now it is DVD or Blu-Ray), no disk absolutely.

Sometimes...I miss that time.
