I like the small details like the strings and texture. Does the large red block for "don't have an account" steal focus from the login form, or is that the point?
Interesting hierarchy using the red 3 times, visually looks great but not sure quite what the main CTA is.
Thanks for the comments, guys!
Where we were comin' from is that once a user signs up it's very likely he/she will never/rarely see the sign-in form again - or they'll already be signed up, know the drill, and push past this screen quickly.
So, the main CTA here is really meant to be the sign-up button and user recruitment. The intention was having the "Don't have an account?" and the sign-up button essentially be its own element, slightly separated from the login form, while still achieving a clean visual unity/hierarchy - so we got heavy-handed with the red in order to draw that attention to that element as a whole.
Another possible option could be switching the login button to a white treatment, while keeping the entire sign-up element with the red/gray treatment, visually separating and drawing the user's eye - although it could create a bit of a pesky button rule.
Maybe I'll knockout a rebound and see if it works? Do keep your thoughts comin'. Thanks!
