This is wonderful, Asher! One thing I might say, I think the curtain looks a little blurry at the bottom. The textures are fantastic, and I like the unique approach you've taken. Keep working on it, the perspective is perfect!

Something of a flash would be nice if you could fit it in, though it might get too crowded if you do; not sure.
The thread through the curtain is ace, but the curtain itself could use a little texture, just as subtle as you did the woodwork.

Maybe the lens could get that metal feel? Top of the curtain, not sure what's holding it :/ This and that and ur gold with the next version :D

Ah crap, I love everything about this, except from the curtain, as the other folks noted!

Wow, I really like this. The concept is funny and the object is cute. The wood-texture is sweet and the lighting is slick. But I don't like the blue curtain... :/ Both because of the color and because of the shadowing vs. the bottom curves. I think it would have looked better by itself, though. It's also a bit like that on the lens part, in my opinion. It doesn't quite fit in with the organic wood stuff, and maybe it's too detailed/complicated (not the lens itself, but the dark gray cylinders). Or maybe it's better with another material, like metal. I don't know... But that part looks slickety-slick alone. :)

Just my opinion, anyway. Overall it's looking awesome.

Looks good but the metaphor seems to have a semantic error. How will someone get photographed when the lens is outside the room ?

I think the mixing of metaphors doesn't work here. Either turn it into a full-on booth, or a full-on camera. It's just too weird to have both as it works better as a camera than a photo booth.
