    This one works better. Have you tried different heights on the center bar of the "W"? Maybe making it even with the top side of the middle bar of the "E"...

    I like the other one a lot visually, but it's true that it doesn't read as easily as this one, which was instantly clear. I personally like the height of the 'W' bar as it is - it feels like it makes sense for the width of the character. That said, always curious to hear how alternate suggestions work out.
