I like where this is going but I'm not big on the font you're using. Secondly it's either a little too tightly kerned or the weight of the font is too heavy. Is that helpful?

Yeah that's very helpful. I'll play with the kerning & check out some other fonts. I was looking for a font that flowed with the rounded spoon, but had the corners of the fork. If you have anything in mind let me know.
