Working on a few ideas for establishing an identity on my personal work. I'm keen on containing the typography within a circle which can be used in many different scenarios.

I'm not entirely convinced with it yet but wanted to get something out there for review.

I like the idea here Si, and the colours are lovely. The tail of the S doesn't quite look right as it connects to the I. Maybe it should be a bit more... swoopy & natural?

Not sure if I like the logo in this mock up, don't think it sites in with the rest of the design. Personally, I preferred these from a few months ago but I don't really think they'd fit in with this design either.

    Hey Si

I like the script/hand-drawn style here but the join between the `S` and the `i` seems a bit unnatural or staged to me. Would someone write like this? A script font should flow between characters and this just feels quite disjointed.

For example, if you look at the calligraphy fonts on Dafont the majority of examples where the `S` and `i` connect join at the top of the `i` as a logical conclusion of the tail for the `S`.

Also, I think the weight is a bit too formal for you - particularly given your previous branding. Reckon would be much better if it was chunkier. One phat monogram?

Thanks for the constructive feedback, guys. I knew if I didn't put it out there, I'd regret it.

Jack: I think you're right. I prefer the simplicity of the original attempts but felt it was lacking something. Maybe I should build on the typography a little?

Cole: fair point about the forced ligature between the S and I. I considered connecting the top parts but, again, it's not a natural connection.

    Back to the drawing board...
