Playing with an idea for my own site. Want to focus around these four post types and let the user select the post they want to go to from the right side of the site... sorta like post it tabs on a book.

Yeah I agree, I need to polish it up some more. I don't like the text either need to work on that some more.

Very cool direction. Maybe try increasing font size of the post titles, and decrease the size of the icons.
