After coding up my last portfolio post I think I've decided to go a different direction.
I'm trying to create a minimal, easy to view portfolio site to showcase my work. If someone's looking to hire a designer the more immediately viewable the portfolio, the better right?
Therefore I've reduced the previous layout to one page, and plan to use some subtle javascript to make navigation really easy - keyboard arrows for up/down or clicking on the arrow, or just scrolling where the project details will follow down the page until they're swapped by the new project information. The page will ultimately be longer than shown in the screenshot, which javascript used to load more content as scrolled.
I'm eager to hear from other designers, or creative directors that regularly go through the process of finding freelancers/small studios for projects.
It sounds like you have identified other designers and creative directors as your target audience. Think about what they would like to learn about you and your applied experience. Be sure to outline your role for each selected work and mention if others contributed. This can help potential clients understand where you fit into their existing team. And, make it easy for people to contact you and discuss their next project. Currently, the email me call-to-action gets a bit lost and is vague. It is both easier to find and more clear on your current site.

Thanks for taking the time to view!

This is very good. Dribbble does not do it justice though, would love to see this in a browser.
The type of layout you're using is my favourite for browsing portfolio sites. I've always liked http://31three.com/portfolio/ & http://kylemeyer.com/work/ for this reason.

Thanks Mark, it's hard to be objective when designing for yourself!

I've put this new portfolio layout up today. A few things on the todo list such as a nicer javascript navigation, but here it is out in the wild!
