    Thanks guys.

The logo ended up inspiring the packaging as well. I'll try and post it if I can find a decent rendering or photo.

Yeah, there was definitely an "aha!" moment after I created the flat version.

My brother and I worked on the packaging, which we mimicked after the flat logo, but once we started sketching it we realized the mark was that much stronger with some weight to it.

BTW, I think you did a reverse-rebound (offensive rebound). Wondering if this is a first for Dribbble.

Haha. I'll chalk it up to "first game jitters".

Actually, it's an older project so I only thought to post to the final. Once people started liking it I figured y'all would be interested in how it started.

Tomorrow I'll dig through my notebooks and find the original sketch and client brief. Haha.

Yes! This is a great icon. Bang on!

If it were me, I would add a very subtle texture to the F case/holder. And maybe a slight gradient on top just to give it a bit of realistic lighting effect.

This is an amazing idea! However I can see this more as an icon rather than a logo. To me a logo should be simple with 1-3 colors and no shadows. But nice concept!
