Footer + subscribe block
At the very end of 2016, I worked on a simple small business website template with the team at @Netlify, getting ready for the beta launch of their new static site CMS. It's now used by Smashing Magazine as the CMS for their redesigned website, which is running on the JamStack. Read more about it here.
To showcase the template's capabilities, we had to come up with a fictional small business, design a small brand system around it and do some planning around content and information architecture. When we were done, we moved on to designing and building the actual template. The brand we came up with is Kaldi, a small specialty coffee store.
I guess I'm starting from the bottom (get it? š) by posting the footer first.
