A quick illustration done directly in FreeHand MX (yes I dig vintage tools :)) without scribbles in advance for my Seasons Greetings page. I wanted a reason to fool around with the particle snow script by Seb Lee-Delisle (@seb_ly) and the HTML5 canvas element. The white circles in the screenshot are generated 'snowflakes'.
Thanks Sam. I wanted a frosty cold winteratmosphere. it really started when I added the gradient to white in trees - suddenly there was this fog-like look near the bottom
