Photos in the new Airbag will get a bit of 'shop love. Just posting photos as is creates this horrible clash that will not do. At this time I think images will link to their counterpart on Flickr.
Total cerebral vomit here but maybe consider a photoshop action (so this doesn't sound too much like work) that doubles the canvas height dupes the image creates the effect on the dupe and then you can output the doubled image as a sprite to do a css rollover to show the unaffected image?

Yup. I was thinking something very similar. As often I as typically post photos I don't think it will take a large effort but efficiency helps.
