I started on this concept a year and a half (or more...) ago, before I started building Artisan JS. Yesterday I went back and started putting it together again using some newer JavaScript and tying into Artisan JS. I had put this project on pause because handling large imagery in-browser was ridiculous, but I'm proud to say that this is a 400 x 300 pixel chunk of a 20 x 30 inch print at 300 dpi, created in Firefox.
A revision on the previous work, done in-browser (HTML5 + Canvas + ArtisanJS). This time I've added some mountains and a slight ground plane. I'm beginning to love it, now I just need to vary up the elephants and create more uniqueness to them.
