Short set of hand lettered christmas cards. Pretty rough and unpolished as they weren't planned or measured, but it makes a nice change for me. Drawn with white Pilot gel pen on heavy black sketchbook paper.

Rough and unpolished a lot of the time looks so much better, this is a great example. Good job :D
... sooo beautiful!
Happy new year to both of you! Lovely design. Curls are looking very well with that type!
Dame to you Claire, nice job.
@Tom - It's true, just sometimes tough to resist aligning, erasing and fixing things! Cheers for the kind words.
@Arno - Thank you!
@Milosz - Thanks very much, hope you have a great holiday weekend!
@Rudy - Thanks a lot!
Damn I would totally want one. Great looking cards
Thanks Stéphane. (I got as far as immediate family members, it started getting quite repetitive..!)
Lovely work and great idea! Typography is like your weapon, and words your ammo! Wish you a happy and successful 2012! :)
I'd be happy if you'd give me feedback on my last shot, its still a raw draft tho.
This looks beautiful Claire, I like the roughness of it. Makes it more warm and personal as a card should be. Nice work! :)
@Daniel - Thank you very much for the kind words! All the very best for the new year to you, too. Just been catching up on your work, new project looks promising!
@Yassine - Good to hear from you, thanks a lot! Yeah thought it'd be nice to keep it very obviously hand drawn. Cheers!
Thanks Colin, appreciate it.
That gel pen really pops!!!
Cheers Josh! Just needed to go over the main lettering twice but it makes a nice contrast with the slightly darker swirls.
Beautiful Claire! That's my kind of card.
Thanks Michael, glad to hear it!
Nice '2's! =)
She likes it rough!
Claire, this looks absolutely stunning.
Very different from your regular well calculated immaculate precision type, but it works so well.
You should rock out a script font. I would pay good money for that.
Rockage, Claire! My only complaint is that you don't post shots more often...
Sooooooo beautifully done! Great job Claire, your work is always amazing and great! Keep it up!
That is some swashy goodness Claire :) You're a true artist and have a very keen for for typography. You always know how to make it look good without going over the top, which is key for a great design. Hats-off to you and best of luck in the new year!
finally a card with its own hand done personality! Beautifully done, Claire. Artistry at its finest.
oh wow. can you send me one? ;) This is great Claire. My favorite is the "st" combo in Christmas. Beautiful.
