This is a new logo design for a fella who teaches guitar. What do you think? Do you have any suggestions?

I'm not sure you need so many tuning pegs. I think if you dropped the ones on the side, and had just one instance of the peg (in the 'D'), it'd still drive the concept enough (which I like). Too many take away from the cleverness of the idea, although it should be noticeable.

Maybe you can explore some options with different fonts and kerning that better fit the tuning peg idea.

    Great start man :D

I definitely agree with Ryan. It's a good concept, but needs refining using the 'less is more' approach. I'd try dropping the yellow pegs, and maybe smoothing the shape of the other pegs. I think that would make them feel more a part of the letterforms.

Thanks both of you for your input. ll try your suggestions and see how it goes. Its great to get feedback when I've spent hours alone in the office pondering over this design and other projects :)

I used the Creighton font for this logo design. I bought the font originally for posters, but I thought it worked on this, too. Do you prefer A or B. Let me know which you think works best (if any)...
