   i like these shapes a lot. im not into that shadow/blur in the center of the blank white shape.

   then again, maybe its because i can't see whole thing? just seems to not match the style of the page's sharpness

   edit: i see you're putting a menu there, curious to see how that shadow will fit after that

   Thanks Kirk! That blur certainly wasn't my 1st choice either, and ultimately it looks like I'll be able to eliminate it in exchange for darker menu text instead.
