Tweaked the type and changed the ampersand to match.

wow! big improvement :)
Woah, absolutely LOVE that ampersand!! I mean, the text is great as well, but that ampersand is deadly!! Did you sketch first then vectorize or go straight into vector?
@Joe The previous version was the live traced version of the clients handwriting and my ampersand. This is it cleaned up in illustrator.
I wish i was much better at handwriting and could avoid this step though :)
Lovely. That ampersand is gorgeous.
This is beautiful - has the same spontaneity as the original trace but is much more fluid and "easier" to read.
Ross, nice work. Amazing how just stylizing the ampersand to mimic the type really makes everything cohesive. Nice touch on using the clients handwriting, will definitely add to the ownership of the brand.
this is wonderful! while I loved the previous ampersand, this one fits better with the type, and it gives the logo a feeling of almost being rotationally symmetrical, which is icing on the cake. Love it!
Love the ampersand, the first one was to solid.
So much more cohesive! Love it.
And I really like the *spunk* the ampersand has now, such attitude.
drooling over that ampersand!
