   Just got printed samples of the latest book I designed. This was actually a second (revised & expanded) edition of a previous book I designed. This page is from the book interior before the main content begins.

   @Madelein the book was printed in 4 spot colors on white paper. So the image you're looking is a flood of metallic copper with 'Emblems' being the white of the paper and the smaller text being a soft grey PMS.

   The rest of the book is actually flooded with the soft grey which allows for the highlights of the illustrations to be reversed out to the white of the paper.
