Sticking with the Pokémon naming because I feel like it.
Here's a shot of my pretty-much-finalized site (full view). Used a button from Ed's Loupe UI kit, and lightened it a bit. Dribbble icon is in hover state (obviously), and the about button is in normal state.
The about button would probably make the footer slide up, revealing a full bio about me, thanks to some CSS3 or jQuery magic.

Haha, seriously though, this looks really nice. One thing I would suggest is doing a black -> white gradient on the bottom bar at opacity 10% and blending mode overlay, at the moment it looks a little flat. Great work though, Colby!

That button looks like it could be done in CSS, you should try it.
