Getting the chance to refine one of the major UI elements for this app. The idea is to simplify it as much as possible as it is the most used action in the entire app. The blue button shows the hover state. Still not entirely happy with it but its getting closer!
The dark section is the "actuals" section which isn't touched all that often by the user as it is calculated automatically, so I wanted to try and keep it out of the way. The 9am - Close isn't a button but more of a token type thing, but I think you are right about the token, needs to have less of a "button" style.
Thanks guys, will work on simplifying the token. The dark actuals section is editable by the user so its kind of a tricky situation, ideally I would like to remove that area completely but it is definitely needed at this stage.

I'm with @Marvin - Too many elements "feel" like they are actionable. Otherwise very neat ;) - Good luck simplifying it.
