Reduce the noise if you like, but it looks great! Don't worry too much if other designers are sick of noise... Take criticism on board, but only worry if your users complain.

I think the noise looks great. If anything, maybe tone it down on the buttons, but it looks great either way.

Too noisy. Perhaps give it a brushed metal feel instead if you like the dramatic effects.

QUIET DOWN!!! Love the noise everywhere except on the colored buttons(active states look good). But like Chris said, brushed metal would be kinda cool to see too.

The noise is fine because it doesn't get in our way...it's as usable as if there were no noise.
