@Fran it's quite obvious that the white would show through the back of the card since the card itself is made of a see-through material. The Red is darker, thus less light comes through, but since the twitter icon is in white there will be light coming through it and will leave a white/light spot. Hope that explains it a bit :)
@Floris, have you considered letting them print an extra layer to shield the colors from eachother? Maybe try a light gray as "base" or like they do with posters: blue like the blueback posters for ABRI's and other big outdoor posters!
