Latest Review is Misspelled, and i was just concerned about the qty filed i dont see a space to type No. of Quantity, and i also see u have kept the add the cart button on the right cause the select size and qty fields are on the right and will facilitate the user to click the button, but i just feel if u haven't tried it out or not but it will be more better if it was moved to left. and the also the size and qty field to left and move the color boxes below the price and then the description.
I was also wondering about the read more link where will it take ? Cause i see the details section just below the jacket, do u feel it needs to be there ?
@Kartik - all good feedback. Nice catch with the spelling. It's all fixed in the dev. As far as the QTY field, when you focus your mouse - that whole area is actually an input field.... it's less confusing than it might sound once you play with the actual site :)
The read more link actually just auto-scrolls down to the details for those people that have small monitors :)
@ Kartik internal Beta is actually tomorrow (err today as it's early morning here). Visually speaking, we've had to make a lot of concessions due to client requests but there are still some interactions within the site that we're happy with.
The site is pretty much done. The actual public launch will probably depend on how long the client waits.... Functionally speaking, the site is ready to go live.
Absolutely LOVE that texture underneath the product shot. Is that a map elevation pattern??? Nice detail! Can't wait for this to go live just to play with it for an hour or two! HAHA
I usually love everything about your designs but this one is ALMOST there. There is one thing that this design could survive without and it's the darn feathered edge going across over the tab system. Everything else is very sharp, so I think this should be the same.
Other than that I LOVE what you do, great work with this site and I'm looking forward seeing it go live and play around with it.
This is probably WAY outta left field and perhaps not fitting in with the rest of the look and feel of the site, but what if the inactive products in the strip up top were slightly transparent when not selected... and when you hover over them, they change to fully opaque, but the transition is a vertical image slide between the two images.
One would slide down to bottom and fade out, and then the other image would slide in from the top and fade in.
Again, might be way different from what you have in mind, but from what I am seeing on the page, it might be a nice interaction method?
Another super small thing that might be nice: the arrow shapes under "Men" and "Outerwear" in the main nav and sub-nav... what if the arrow shape you used for them was derived from the similarly arrow shape of the logo? Could look bad, but could also look awesome to tie things together with... just a thought.
Thanks for the feedback you guys, all of it is super helpful.
@ Anthony - love your feedback dude, always thinking especially with the thumbnail rollover. I'd love to try and implement some of that - we're just crunched at the moment budget wise :X but I'll see what I can do.
@ Ben, anytime man! Can't wait to see this site up and running, seems like you've been working on it for a while? How big is this site? Like how many templated pages? Seems like each page also has a ton of fun interactions on it... I know exactly what that's like, always rough when you're facing a future big launch on something like this.
Love all the user interface...but the soft gradient disturbs me. Everything is sharp with straight edges and for me the gradient looks "strange" between the product and the description-review-sizing chart... bar... well I don't have the solution right now anyway lol...so when will it be online? :)
@Michael Stevens - Good call, we went back and forth and tried the F pattern but didn't work as well visually speaking.... add to cart actually looks better in the live version - alignment wise than this shot.
I have mixed emotions on the F pattern when it comes to large CTA buttons. I totally agree with it for reading headlines and copy though :)

@Kartik: Howly! Do you always use just one sentence for such a big description?

Kartik doesn't always comment on a shot, but when he does it's just one sentence.

Looks great! But I would have to say that the "You may also Like" it seems that "like" should be lowercase.

Looks good!
Try to use the line stitch technique on the header and content area!

I'm sorry to see the client cut the stylized mountains near the footer -- the addition of the topographic map as a texture is great!

Stick to the "F" pattern on your buy box.
