Potential redesign of the UI for a movie app I'm working on. Focuses a bit more on the content, WP7-inspired. Any thoughts?

    Really good choice of font.

Are any of the words clickable? For example the names of the director or actors. If they are, and you don't want to underline them for stylistic reasons, maybe you should choose a special link colour for them.

Thanks all. @Christoph Right now none of the text is linked. I'm trying to keep the app pretty streamlined and bare bones, but I might think about making the showtimes links, and allow users to jump to the ticket purchasing page for them.

Honestly, I immediatly knew you were inspired by the Metro UI. And I love it! It's clear and easy to read, you do not use unnecessary textures/gradients and details...and the most important : content is KING!

I'm a WP7 user myself, so I love the Metro UI, and your app looks fantastic. I'm REALLY happy to find some Metro-inspired apps here, amongst aaaall those iPhone apps. We need more UI like this one, because this is what I call freshness. Congrats!

@Maxwell It's already coded and done- I just need to redo the UI with this updated style- look for it on the app store within a couple weeks...

    Looks clean and beautiful.

Did you consider wrapping the theater labels to more than one line of text? As a visual device, I can see how it would be useful to break up different sections by having repeated elements of similar line lengths. But, I imagine it might be more useful to see the full theater name...considering many theaters in my neck of the woods are typically called "AMC Century 15 [City Name]", "AMC Century 20 [City Name]", "Regal IMAX 15 [City]", etc.

@Ryan Excellent point. Where I am (the app uses core location), there are only a couple of theaters nearby, but I can see that being a usability issue when you've got many around you. Thanks for the tip.

@Bill excellent! Mind sharing which API you used for the theater information?

I like the design, but it could definitely use some 1px line dividers between some of the content and adjusted spacing. With everything evenly spaced and no dividers like it currently has, it's hard to decipher what is what and where the hierarchy is.

This is looking nice Bill. But could you help me with saying which typeface you're using… I can't really recognize it and I'm breaking my head on it for 2 days now :-)
